3. If I would like to write an email to CIC now to find what is their thought on this situation, what info of mine and my application do i put in the email for them to identify me or my application?

Full name as per passport, date of birth and tracking number of your application package to CIO.

Could probably attach passport copy and provide details of when the package was received, along with the time and by whom.

Perhaps mention the NOC as well.

I have a query, if experts could please share their thoughts on it.

I have a Canada Temporary Worker Visa and with that I was assigned a UCI.

1. Would my new FSW application be tagged to the same UCI or will I get a fresh new UCI.
2. I tried searching for this UCI in ECAS system but they were not able to identify me with the information I provided (along with UCI). Is it because my Temp Worker Visa was already processed?

Thanks.

Hi guys,
Need your help again. In case an employer is willing to hire me while the FSW is in process, what are my options to be able to work for them at this moment? Is LMO still needed? Can I apply for work permit while FSW is in process?

Please advise.

Thanks!

Yes you can very well apply for work permit. It is applicable under section A22(2) of IRPA.

Medtech? What NOC is that exactly? 3211, 3212?
If any of those two, I think you have pretty good chances, provided that you prepared your application well.

Check the spreadsheet of this forum's members here:
https://docs.google.com/a/dciasp.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Aovj20uHVWyzdGFqSGJUOEtVX0h5eWM0cXB5dlAtOEE#gid=19

That will show you the number of total application reported on this forum for each NOC, as well as PROJECTED number of worldwide total numbers.

And of course here you can find the official count of processed applications:
http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp
Most likely it will update the numbers soon.

Hi Riza,
Actually, you are not alone when it comes to worrying about the applications sent by each and everyone who is chasing that Canadian dream. We can never really tell if whats the status of the cap updates. Hindi naman nila kasi ina update ung nasa CIC website. There are few here na base on their experience (application received is May 10, 2013 in Nova Scotia) that their Credit Cards have been charged already by CIO in NS. So, if you would make that as a basis it will be around 60 days, give or take. Lets just pray and hope for the best and brace for the worse. Goodluck!!! :-\

I will not post on this topic again. However, I just have to point out that the way you are talking to me and other "subservient followers" :o, as you put it, is condescending and patronizing. So, who has been talking about the God-complex here? I don't need advice from you to "get far" in life, especially if your definition of "far" is getting a PR and a job offer from "the biggest whatever in the world" ::)

If you didn't like jigzyy making fun of all the squabble about the thread rules, just say that, without bragging about your personal achievements and being rude yourself. Better still, develop some sense of humour and take it easy :P

+ 1 for you.

Dear All,
Although I post very less but I would like to bring to kind notice that as per Operational Manual from CIO we can conclude that CIO moves irrespective of the NOC

Reason : As there is overall Cap of 5000 and Sub cap of 300 so CIO will time stamp the application as it receives.
1. They pick up application by application and increment the number of overall cap and NOC Cap by +1 if application is complete and payment is successful.

So it would be more beneficial if the spreadsheet copy is sorted by the Date of Receipt and then Time.

It would give the clear idea about the date currently CIC working on.

Further, it would be also beneficial for the members who have paid by DD as DD drawn by the banks will be on counterpart.
For complete understanding of the method of DD processing kindly read as follow:

1. Applicant approach the home branch (ex. India) to draw a DD payable in Canada in CAD.
2. Bank will charge the home account of the applicant equivalent to the amount and draw a DD on their counterpart (Ex. ABC Bank) in Canada.
3. Applicant will sent the DD to CIO along with application.
4. CIO will check for the completeness of the application and will present the DD in there bank (say for ex. Royal bank of Canada)
5. Royal bank of the Canada will send the DD for the encashment to the bank on which home branch has drawn (ABC bank)
6. ABC Bank will send the confirmation to Royal Bank of Canada about the clear payment and then after cap count is increased by +1 for NOC and overall Cap

I just outlined the above procedure as I was a part of the development of the Bank application.
