i was presuming that there will be two stages after filing the application. At first stage the application will be reviewed at the local office where the application is submitted and than it will forwarded to centralized intake office. Please comment on this if you know more details regarding this. I would be applying by october 10th, before this i cant coz i am taking ielts on 6th september. Good thing is that the NOC category which i am applying is filled up with 75 applications as per the current update on CIC website. Any more guidence to me is highly appreciated.

Friend, you will need to submit your application directly to CIO, NS, Canada. Once its is reached there before 31st Dec., it will be considered in FSW 2014. About the cap, the 75 applications which are updated on CIC website are only applications that reached CIO till 14th May 2014. So approximately 3 months worth applications are yet to be reviewed. So better hurry in applying. I hope you have a consultant. If not, join the FSW 2014 forum and seek the latest updates there. Also refer this site --> fsw2014.info

I tried Step 2 but no one at Police Station was ready to do it. Instead, they provided me with the list of Labs where it can be carried out successfully.
I would suggest you to find that type of Lab in your area and get it done from there...They may charge you somewhere between 1500-2500 depending upon the availability of those labs in your area.

You should try to complete it asap...It may take up to 35-40 days to get it. I hope that helps

Today morning I got email requesting for PCC, RPRF Fees payment, medical.

This email was firstly sent on 11 July 2014 but email bounced back. And on 11 July 2014 I only got email requesting medicals for my wife and me. And yesterday, when the deadline had passed, so they gave me 45 days to submit everything.

Any one have an idea how much caps might be filled up for NOC 2131 category (Civil Engineers) to date. As per cic website its 75, however as some of our friends in the forum said that these figures are as of May 16th, will this category hold up till october. Please shed some more light on the matter.

Visa issued on August 22nd and passport sent back on same day (tracker of the return envelop was activated)

Passport received on August 25th .. will do landing this weekend.

i need sum urgent help regarding WES assessment. The university from where i have done my BS(4 years) is not in WES recognised universities list but my UK university from where i done my Masters is in WES list, can sumbody really guide with his/her own experience that if i just send WES my UK masters degree would it be enough for WES to evaluate bcoz iam ruining out of time and cant send any other assessing body except WES bcoz of time

You mean that the university is not reflecting in the list on WES site?? Or you received a mail that your university is not recognized from WES?? This is because, if UK recogmizes your university and gives you an admission for masters, then WES surely will recognize. I have a friend whose university was not listed on the WES site, he still sent his documents and got a positive verification from them...

Hii all,

Guys please help me to take my decision, i could by maximum apply by 5th october under NOC 2131 ( Civil Engineer). Is it worth trying, will i be able to find a place within the cap, i dont want to take all this pain if i am unassure of making within the cap. I guess there are many experts on this forum who can advice me on this matter. Any kind of help in this matter will do me a lot of good. I am a bit stressed and cant take a final decision. Hopefully by help of you guys i could make a decision asap.
