I knew as experience points were counted for all years of work, whatever we've done, not only the job from occupation list. But the truth is they count only the job, you've done within that occupation list. I realized this when I got the GCMS notes. If I hadn't taken any points from my Canadian brother, I wouldn't have been eligible to be accepted to the program. I didn't know this. Actually, I knew this but as I read other member's comments on this last year, I was expecting to get full points from my work experience. But it didn't come true.

If i'm not wrong this question was around in the forum from the very first days, but we could not come to a final conclusion because the statements on CIC website were not descriptive enough.

on a different note...could you please let me know how long does it take to obtain the GCMS file? I mean CIC says it takes almost 6 weeks, but if you could let me know how long did it take for you to receive it.

Work experience
To be eligible for points, the applicant’s work experience must:

have occurred during the 10 years immediately preceding the date of application;

have been acquired in occupations listed at Skill Type 0 (Managerial occupations), Skill
Level A (Professional occupations) or B (Technical occupations and skilled trades) of NOC
2011;

not be in an occupation that has been designated by the Minister as a restricted
occupation; and

have been full time paid work (or the equivalent in paid part time work).

You are right rezas1978 ....Many of us thought they will consider the entire Work Ex.... Thanks Slowokan....

Thanks to ramgarhia for sharing the link of OP 6B.... In Page 28 (Section 9-12) Under experience the following is mentioned for point calculation,

To be eligible for points, the applicant's work Experience must:

Officers must:
 consider only those occupations which the applicant has specified and for which the
applicant has provided the four-digit NOC code on their application form (R80(6));

I think it support Slowokan's experience.....

Warsaw VO, where my file is at, requires me to send some updated documents, including police certificates.

I lived in Canada between June 2007 and October 2008 as a student, which makes about 1.5 years. I know there was no requirement for a police certificate, collected from Canada, for the FSWP initial application. So, I got police certificate from my country only.

Now Warsaw VO is asking for police certificates again, including the foreign countries we stayed more than 6 months. But they didn't mention about Canada, if there is need for one from Canada. Should I try to get one from Canada as well? I just made a quick search but, they require fingerprints. That's not a 5 min. thing to get a certificate from Canada. I am in Turkey now.

What do you think? Should I try to get one from Canada? Or is it same like initial application, no need from Canada?

They took approx 45 mins. they meet my colleagues, accountant, partner and owner of my company. Asked me what you do? also asked to my colleagues about their profile and my profile, turn over of the company, how many people working in your company. put file through consultancy or as own etc....

Did Warsaw VO mention which countries do they require PCCs from for your application? If they did then you need to send PCCs only from those countries mentioned in the request. If not, please post this query to Warsaw VO requesting for an expedited answer.

This is the original message, they sent;

Police certificates for yourself, your spouse and each dependent child over the age of 18

o You, your spouse and your dependent children over the age of 18 must submit an updated police certificate from the country where they are currently residing

o You must submit a police certificate from every country where you and your spouse have resided more than six months if it has not already been submitted; this requirements applies also to your dependent children if they have resided in foreign countries for more than six months after their 18th birthday

But on the immigration application package guide on CIC's website, it says;

Police certificates

All applicants must submit police certificates/clearances as part of the application process.

You and all of your family members who are 18 years of age and older and who are not already permanent residents or Canadian citizens will have to provide:
•a valid police certificate, or
•police clearance, or
•record of no information.

These documents are to be provided for each country other than Canada, in which you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.
