Hi Guys , ;) , I have some happy news ,
By grace of Allah 8) , I have received my Medicals request along with Police charcter certificate and fees payemnt for right to landing from LVO.
Please tell me how to update the spread sheet or moderator will do it ? I am unable to find my details on spread sheet......

Congrats!!!
Its like those of us that applied under 1112 in the LVO are deliberately being ignored for medical request form and progress of process.

DM on 31st March 2014...now received email from visa office !!

Your application for a permanent resident visa was approved. The passports and related documents were sent to you by registered mail on 07Apr14. It generally takes eight to ten days for registered mail to reach its destination. You should be receiving your documents shortly.

Please refer to one of the following websites for details on the arrival procedures in Canada:

For applicants in the Economic Class: http:dfjalfjajfl

We trust that this information will be of assistance.

Hi hbs, congrats on your DM. I got DM on 6th march and have been waiting for my passport since then. Its been almost 40 days and ive sent 6-7 emails to NDVO but no reply. Can u kindly send me the draft u used for getting a reply from NDVO. U can use XXX in the place of UCI and File no.

HI RAMANDEEP...NICE INFO...THANKS FOR SHARING. CANADA LOOKS MORE EXPENSIVE THAN USA..IS IT SO???

Yes, it is expensive compared to USA - and for obvious reasons as USA is hub for most things been made there and its exports in technology and other areas. Canada economy is strong mostly due to its natural reserves.

But the advantage compared to USA is free medcare, however not such a big plus for working people - as in USA most companies go for group insurance scheme for healthcare - so works out cheaper for working people and their dependents in USA too. Other than that almost everything is comparatively cheaper in USA, except for housing in some selected areas like silicon valley.
