The article posted in the thread is a thing to worry. We had this dream of Canada almost fulfilled.... and it seems like the real struggle for settlement is ahead of us in our dream land.

But anyway lets keep our spirits high and take things in a positive way..

Real struggle is to get the Job, without Job settlement would be tough.
Just wanted to share so as to make others aware. People should gear themselves abt +ve and -ve aspects.
Human has the tendancy to look at +ve things weeding -ve ones which is entirely good for progress but preparing in advance for -ve ones would help to cope the situation in a better way.

For most of the people the status is appearing a week after the PER is received. Regarding the average time from PER to MR it is really hard to say depend on many factors such as VO, your background..Your can check the spreadsheet and see in yourself

Thanks Abu Hassaan for your revert.
My consultant did say not to send passport and wait till I get passport request for both.But my dilemma was that NDVO never said that I can send and my spouse documents but not send my passport and in MR email they mentioned clearly that i should be sending all else application can be rejected.
Anyways now that things are clear and I also verified from my consultant I will sending CSE to send my PP back.

Hope to get MR for my spouse soon as already its 61 days. I dont know why they are taking so much time,though i am not claiming any points for her neither employment documents are send.

Hoping all this gets in place and at right time since my Passport is required at 2 places and both very crucial.

Visa is valid from 29/03/2014 to 26/02/2015

First of all Lots of Congratulations for getting Visa. I wanted to ask you in how many days you received the passports back from the day you sent them..Is your visa office NDVO?? I sent my passports on 29-Mar-2014. Guys in how many days can i expect them to be back as I am waiting for the passports for many things to be initiated. All Medicals ,PCCs are already in place. :'(

Don't worry brother, we are in same boat. I did my medicals on 5th Feb and is waiting for DM.
Meantime i registered with CIIP at chandigarh in April.
Along with your current job, you can utilize the time for your future prospectuses in Canada.
