Status changed to DECISION MADE on 18th March 2014; Got the passport delivered at home on 24th March 2014.

Extra money for BlueDart?
I don't know if anything changed in the recent past in VFS, but when applied it was a fee of Rs. 1,200/- for
2 of my passports
2 of my daughter's passports
and 1 of my wife's passport

VFS sends passports through BlueDart by default. The benefit of sending passports through VFS is as soon as you get DM, there is action on their tracking site https://www.visaservices.in/Canada-India-Tracking/TrackingParam.aspx

If you haven't got your passport/s back after 20 days of DM, my friend you have every reason to worry. Log a CSE https://dmp-portal.cic.gc.ca/cicemail/intro-eng.aspx?mission=new%20delhi immediately.

Hi sinestra NDVO collects 300 extra for each person for home delivery thru bluedart. If we don't pay that then they will send it thru regular post. I sent thru VFS on 12th feb n it reached on 13th feb. Actually they tried to encash my RPRF DD on 20th feb but DD had a mistake, drawee branch was wrong. I send a new one on 24th feb and they encashed it on 6th march and updated DM status too the same day. But haven't heard from them ever since.

What do u mean by i have every reason to worry?? Its scaring me! Did u get DM n PP? If so when? Can i put urgent subject in CSE and reason as to attend cousins wedding in USA on May24th? Or any other reason?

frnds just received a call from NDVO ...

I had raised a CSE and sent a mail with my visa and a letter from my senior on company letter head for my onsite travel for 2 weeks.

The lady confirmed that my case is in final stage and should receive passport by early next week..

she also asked if i can come and collect my passports from the counter, i said i've used VFS so should not be a concern if they handover to VFS early.

Received a confirmation mail as well

"Please note that your application is sent for the finalisation. You will be receiving your passport by next 7-10 days."

Going by the trend of timelines of passport delivery after DM, I believe 20 days is too much. Considering that VFS took 4 days for passport dispatch in my case.
I didn't mean to scare you but, I intend you to show some haste. Log a CSE as soon as possible.

I am looking for details related to Medicals (MR) for children below 5 years?
What tests are done for children?
My daughter is 3 and 1/2 years old. Will they do eye test and physically examine entire body?
She has eyesight in one eye. Will this be a problem?
Please give suggestions and advise for Medicals.

for kids they do only physical checks.no urine or blood test..so nothing to worry..and for eyesoght, just declare d facts, it wont impact ur test..so goahead wid all peace of mind.

My DM happened on 9th March, but I haven't heard from them. Its so worrying.

Do send a CSE for delivery status, it's close to 20 days now. I would be worried as well but it seems there is some delay on each status these days for FSW2013 cases (from past couple of weeks), so perhaps your PP delivery is also stuck in this sluggish time. Hopefully NDVO picks up pace in coming month. However, please still send CSE.

I had raised a CSE through this link mentioned above on 25th but no response. Yesterday on 26th March at around 3:00 PM IST i sent a mail on both ids i.e. delhi-immigration @ international.gc.ca and delhiimmigration @ international.gc.ca , i received response from delhiimmigration.. after 1 hour
