this wait for dm is the hardest part of the pr game.....its been 55 days since my passports are with ndvo....and the wait continues...

oh..............it's 55 days i don't know why they keep passport so long. what they are doing with passport it's a official document don't worry you will get it soon,my best wishes with you.

Did any one got Date of Birth Certificate Affidavit done and accepted by CIC. I don't have date of Birth I am born ~ 80's.
I had only 10th in which my fathers name and my DOB is included.

Is there any procedure how it needs to get affidavit ..

can someone provide some information or link regarding commercial truck drivers i.e.

1. how much can a driver earn per month
and
2.how much a owner operator can earn
and
3. with how much approx. investment
and
4. how can one get driving licence for commercial truck/trailer

Hello seniors,

I'm in a dilemma, please provide feedback...

So a couple of days back I noticed my online status had a 2nd line added to it saying- " We started processing our application on Feb 4th 2014"

Today I received an email from NDVO that says:

Dear applicant,

Please find attached correspondence which refers to your application for permanent residence.

Kindly read new Medical instructions carefully - Medical forms and instructions have been emailed to you separately and you shall recieve the same in due course of time.


But the subject of this email contains someone else's application no. and name. There is no mention of my application no. and/or name anywhere in the email.

I'm guessing they either wrongly sent it to my email address instead of the "quoted person" or they copy pasted the email and subject content from another applicants email and sent it to me without editing...

Anyone else came across such a situation??

i rem we were told in CIIP session that one of their attendees earns approx 100000 cad annually as commercial truck driver....though he was an engineer in india....and it took him 1.5 yrs to get the license.....

hi bro....thats not the case for all....there were some unlucky ones on this forum I remember where 10th certificate isn't considered and their app rejected stating missing dob certificate....safest option would be also to send birth certificate affadivit on a 20 rupees stamp paper....i will pm U the format tommorow

i think those who were rejected didn't had their father/mother name on the 10th certificate...please check....
