A Quick Question....

Suppose an application got CC charged and is "In process" on ECAS, but for some reason got rejected by CIC : (PER Not Issued)
1. Will the fees be refund at this stage ?
2. Will there be a change in the ECAS status ? (ff yes, how long will it take to update the status on ECAS)

I am afraid that the FEE won't be returned after PER is issued.....

When you say two different sealed envelopes.? one for master and the others for Bachelors If I want to evaluate both ..?

If you have a transcript from two universities A and B. Try to get each transcript in different sealed envelopes (sealed envelope means the university office guy will enclose the transcript in an envelope and will put the university rubber stamp seal on it). You will end up with two sealed envelopes from the two universities A and B. Now you can put both sealed envelopes in a bigger envelope with a cover letter mentioning your wes reference number and send it to WES. This is what I did.

I assume they will not return the fee back as they have done an initial completeness check and found your application suitable for further processing and hence they charged your CC or DD. After this stage, it is very unlikely that they will return the money as they have put some "working hours" on your application and they therefore can keep your money. Usually this thing is unheard of in FSW2013.

How about 2nd question :
If the application is rejected from CIC....what would be ECAS status ? Will that be updated ? (How Quickly)

while opting for WES

I need to go with WES INTERNATIONAL CREDENTIAL ADVANTAGE PACKAGE (ICAP)..? to send my documents..?

I went for WES ICAP, but there is WES for FSWP specifically (http://www.wes.org/ca/fswp/) which means you could upgrade to wes ICAP later. My evaluation with WES was done way back even before WES was nominated to evaluate credentials for FSWP.

ECAS status most likely should read "DECISION MADE".
Don't worry about it. In some case they take up to 3 months to issue PER after fee charge. It took ~2 months in my case to get PER. I know couple of guys who didn't get PER even after 3 months..

Based on previous posts in the forum, applicants have reported that the UCI # remains unchanged. ECAS updates will show up only after CC or DD charge, ie when they have "officially" accepted your application for review.

I am staying in Bangalore currently. Although i got some of my certificates translated from Punjab, But if you go to Mayo Hall near MG road, There would be more than enough legit people available to translate your documents at some nominal costs.

Hope this helps. :)

Thanks a lot, Mankaran
