Its been exactly 2 months today since my passports were received by the Embassy and nearly 9 months since application.

Most of us have our own personal reasons for having applied in first place for FSW program. Wish they could realize how personal and professional lives are impacted, the future altered, present affected, sacrifices made just waiting and waiting.....

...and to top it up, I must say, they should not withhold anyone's Passport that long for never know when one may need it. 2 Months or so is a long time.
Seeing that their reply to any query can be expected anywhere between 2 - 4 weeks and let's say I have to travel to China in the next one month, will I be asking them when they will send me the stamped PP or should I ask them to return the PP, stamped or not, because I have to resubmit for China visa and I have less time left seeing that even returning the passport via national post can itself take 1-2 weeks?
Worsen the situation when the person is not in home country and had to send the PP to consulate abroad.

It is nice to know that you are just on the verge of getting your PR Visa, Best of luck for that but we must not forget that there are plenty of other applicants who may have applied ahead of us and still waiting for their turn to get MR,PPR etc. So all the form mates lets come together and pray for all those who started early but left behind due to some reason or the other. May God full fill everybody's wish in and out of this forum to get PR Visa this year. Ameen.
God Bless Us all.

Sir

Visa Officers are reasonable , they do not enquire from office receptions or gate keepers
They have to give immigration , not Rishta

Stay Blessed

dear sameer, very simple... let the other docs go (if you are close to deadline) with a note that you are in the process of getting PCC, will dispatch accordingly, best of luck

Dear Members,
One more day gone.
No news and hopes good news to follow... ;D ;D ;D
Waiting is killing me, and time is testing my nerve. But never mind, I will not lose my patience and one golden day CIC-NDVO will give me the good news.

thanks for the replies...I have one more query...I did my medical yesterday...and hospital(e enabled) has provided me information sheet as proof of medical....on that sheet it is written that medical are not complete yet they will be completed till all reports come...they have told me that it will take 2 days for all reports to come and they will upload my medical in two days...so my question is...should i send medical information sheet, passport, RPRF now or should i wait till they upload my medical because as per medical information sheet my medical is still not complete....

Yes sir! That's the proof of medicals that you did in the hospital. You are required to send it along with the other documents. :)

Fully agree with adrenaline,

they should be asking the pp as the last step when they have assured about every other thing and 1 week is max it should take to stamp and send back. I could see other VO timelines in returning the PP. Eg Colombo it returned in just 4-5 days . Moreover in this high tech era they should have negated the need to submit pp at all issuing electronic Visa the way Australia does for its PR . Atleast they could have allowed to submit PP for stamping to a local VO if candidates are over seas and give preference and expedite the stamping process for frequent travelers who need PP often.

I wish I wish is all I can say ... Hope they understand this and are reading this.........

Dear All,

Please let me know where to find out the equivalent of RPRF fees in local currency (INR for me)? Is it provided on CIC website, or we do our own calculation, or we provide whatever equivalent bank says??

Also, is it ok if we send DD for bit higher conversion in case rates fluctuate on upper side?

Thanks for your help.
