I also sent my application on May 04, 2013 (actually after 6:00pm Pakistan Time). Till that time generic application form IMM0008 was having the version of 12-2012 - I sent the same one (rest all the forms and document check list was new). Later, late night I realized that CIC just changed the footer date of generic application form. I's so worried, with thoughts in my mind that CIC may return / reject my application.
I just called CIC and talked CIC representative. She told me that if rest of the forms and check list are new / latest version and only IMM0008 is having footer date of 12-2012 (the older version), then there shouldn't be any problem.

Yes, i have a consultant, however i checked and rechecked my papers in their office and they have their QA naman few days back after i had my papers complete..also i was the one who updated them with the forms through this forum so in fairness to my agent, ok naman output nila..so the result of the CIC assessment if ok or not, it's in God's perfect time na..

Hi gwynemalazarte, is it ok if you PM me the consultant firm you have? Delayed reaction ako e... I already have almost everything by May 4 except ECA and IELTS... Nakakanis din yung NOC code ko na 2174, pinakamarami nag apply! I hope they include it again next year, I know I won't be able to reach the cap...

You just made my day with this reassuring word. In fact, I have been checking intermittently the validated old and new IMM008 forms for 5 days now and really do not see anything different in content.

I need your opinion, All paper works are ready to apply for FSW for NOC 2131 including assesment of credential and IELTS score, unfortunately, my score as per my calculation i will get only 66 points, as per details below.

Age=37y/o 10
Education= bachelor 3 years 21
Language L6.5 S6.5 R 6.0 W6.0 17
Experience 4+ years 13
Adaptability wife IELTS ok 5
total 66 points

I am thinking if i could send my application now and after a month i will submit new IELTS result if got higher score. Would it be acceptable for CIC or in CIO. as i understood before its ok but this time i am not sure.

Please englighten me on the above.

I think this is ok... They said that they will still check if you can really prove that you can support yourself there... Your adaptability is a plus factor and I guess with more settlement funds, who knows?

my visa office is London, UK. Else, I sent application package from Pakistan. I used UPS. It's really fast and on 3rd day (excluding Sunday) my package was reached to NS, CA.

Since you have some luck getting through to them,would it be possible for you to inquire about the current cap count status? and how soon will you get notified if your application has been selected?

The actual page where they are supposed to list the cap counts http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/complete-applications.asp has not yet been updated and it is the end of the week.
