Dear friends,

I calculated to myself 67 points. I have already received my PER. Is that means that INDEED i have this 67 points or visa officer in my VO will recalculate my points once again?

I have just received and email from one of respectful immigration lawyer in Canada and she said that PER means really NOTHING.
Is that true?????? :o :o :o

For sure they are going to recheck the entire things once again...There were cases in which the applications got rejected even after medical request becoz of the insufficient points.... But lets hope these kind of rejections wont happen this time as I read for fswp13 CIC screening applications very well before sending it to the VOs....

Thanks faiz....Here my doubt is that my spouse is a foreigner...We legally registered our marriage in her country and applied for PER. As per my consultant it is sufficient. They said no need to register in both the countries and we made it. The process of marrying a foreigner in India is very complex. So we didnt registered here yet. But while looking at the Indian PCC form there is a section for marital status... As we are not legally registered in India is it possible to add married? or I have to put single? I worry if I add married the passport seva officers may ask for Indian marriage certificate and they may even tell me to change the entire passport. This all are money and time consuming and I may not able to make those with in the given time frame...

Somebody please advice....

Is your spouse name endorsed on your current passport?

Hi all,
I am a bit confused now...
My ECAS was updated on 17th Jan. as "IN PROCESS" but i haven't received my PER yet.
As of yesterdays CAP update my NOC(2154) still shows 20.
I am scared that i might not be in.
or is it that I will be counted after CIC preparing and sending my PER ?
Is ECAS record created after review???
PLZ REPLY. :(

Urgent help required....

In the medical instruction form, my wife surname
mentioned is the surname before marriage..
I already updated her passport with my surname
and intimated the same to ndvo on 22nd
November..
but it seems dey did not updated in the file..

so should I proceed with the medicals and then
submit her both old and new passport ?

pls share ur thoughts

My case is similar to urs. I did updated NDVO about change of wife surname but MR form had original name.
So just strike off old surname in MR form and write new surname.
I did d same and my medical status was updated after 2 weeks.
Best of luck

Hello Guys,

Thanks all for your kind and never ending support. I received my Medical Request form around 2weeks back, however it only has my name in it and just 1 IMM1017 form in it. Does this means that only me (being the primary applicant) has been asked for the Medicals or secondary applicants (My wife and daughter) are also eligible to undergo Medical examination?

Please Advise!!

U should put CSE to NDVO abt missing medical forms.
U might get ur missing forms in a week or so.

Not yet, becoz my passport was issued before our marriage. But I think the legal marriage in her country is valid in India becoz just now she informed me Indian embassy told her that they can give even 5 years spouse visa to India....

PCC is nationwide valid........ It is specially for criminal check of an individual as we all know.....
If spouse name endorsed on passport .... One ought to write "Married"..... Otherwise doesn't matter.....
Besides....... I am married...... Not endorsed my wife name on my renewed PP...... Already took 4 PCCs.... Submitted ...... All worked without any hassles.......So don't worry.....

As your wife never stayed in India....... She doesn't need Ind PCC......
