Dear aami786pk !!!

Can you please tell how can one see the status of his / her immigration application using ECAS tool without having received the PER. I reckon PER is one email from CIO /CIC in which the client UCI is provided. I think you need that for checking the status using ECAS. Am I right ??. If not then please explain how can we use ECAS without receiving PER.

Two years ago my father gone through immigration process and after medical they asked for further tests. So if anything wrong with your medical cic would ask you for particular test. Dont worry you and your wife will go through.

Aami , as you mentioned that you had UCI from your old application.

IS THE NEW AND OLD UCI NUMBER SAME IN YOUR CASE , as i also have my uci from visitor visa.

My application arrived in CIC on 2nd january 2014. Actually Im not hoping much thinking that's its too late but as what I am observing now in this forum, It seems that CIC could be processing 2nd-3rd week of December with 54 remaining in the cap. Looking at the average successful applicants per month, its less than 50. Im hoping and praying that I can be in the cap.

It must be filled in digitally on computer in order to validate it. Validation is important is order to see if the form is filled in completely. Although, it can be filled in with hand but chances of incompleteness of Generic Form increases.
