PLEASE UPDATE

MEDICAL REQUEST LETTER RECEIVED 17/12/2013

PCC , RPRF AND MEDICAL TO BE SUBMITTED BY 05/02/2014

@ manonquest

- The medical forms (IMM 1017) will be sent through doctor's office. You won't get your hands on them so you can't send them.
- You do not need to send any self addressed envelops to NDVO. NDVO will use national post for PP returns.
- The value of DD shall be as per the latest update on the CIC official website. Looks like you got the DD made too early. You can get it cancelled and reissued a new one. You can also get a DD in CAD payable at New Delhi. Currency fluctuations do not affect DD/MC as they are date locked until the validity of the DD/MC.
- PCCs original; Yes.

Your package to NDVO must include;
1) Cover letter
2) Request letter (print-out)
3) Medical receipts (original)
4) PCCs (Original)
5) RPRF DD (original)
6) Passports (original)
7) Any change in your job, travel, family details as applicable...
Originals will be originals, any photocopy that you send has to be notarized.

You could use any reliable courier company for dispatch of package or you can opt for services of VFS; choice is yours.

Hope that helps.

Hi friends,

Congratualtions to all who has got med req., RPRF, PCC requ, PP req from NDVO.

I have also received Med requ., PCC requ, RPRF requ and Passport requ.

I would like to ask following things to forum member,

After doing medicals, am I suppose to post the signed form IME1017 by designated medical practitioner to NDVO.

What about returning of stamped passport ? means, Do I need to provide them a envelop, etc.... ? What must be included as a arrangement for Passport ?

The rate for RPRF have been changed on 6th December 2013. Earlier I made demand draft for 31400 INR per applicant who is above 22 years age in my application. My question is, How to mitigate this float fee scenario ? My bank is saying if I make demand draft in Candian dollar it will be encashed only in Canada, so I have to go for INR demand draft only.

PCCs I am suppose to provide original for asked countries...

One more thing, apart from this forum, we can build a yahoogroup which would help us to be in contact when we will be in Canada....

I appreciate your reply,

Regards,

Dear moderator, I request kindly change my status from dark blue to brown as i have received PP req also with medical request.

Congratulations menonquest and all d best for MR and Visa.

Hi Raghav563, Cover letter is not mandatory.
But it helps Visa office to link your documents to the requested ones in NDVO letter.

Good compilation Adrenalineforu. One more document to be added here.

8) NDVO's request letter mentioning above document.

It is mentioned clearly in letter at the end,
"PLEASE RETURN THIS FORM WITH THE REQUESTED DOCUMENTS."

Thank you for information on my queries.

You have mentioned medical receipt (original). Does it mean signed original copy of medical form IME1017 ?

Regards.

Nope. It's an invoice that you get when you go through your Medical tests.

I appreciate your reply,

I agree that Networking is very important in Canada. We should bring all our friends on a common platform so that even after landing we would be in contact with each other and try to help each other. In my opinion, we should carry forward the bond that we share here for more than 6 months even in Canada.

Yahoogroup is one of such options but what other options we have to integrate the wonderful people out here on a common friendly footing.

Guys and gals, would like to have your views on the above.

No Menonquest. Medical receipts means a computer generated payment receipts from the hospital who accepted your payment of INR 3500 or whatever is the amount.
You will receive two pages from Hospital. One with all tests they have conducted and having panel physician's stamp. You will not receive any form. Second page will be the payment receipt i just explained above.

Send originals for yourself and spouse keep a copy for you.

I totally agree with you rawdah....any of us can refer each other for suitable opportunity if came across any. Or at least help to get established.
