There are rules and the rules are the ones stated by the immigration minister. As we on this thread have pointed out, he released a statement saying processing times will be much quicker this year. Unfortunately LVO is not following this 'rule'.

Other VO are already issuing visas, so they are flowing the rules, London is not and this is why we must contact the minister to inform him of this situation.

An email to him can only improve our situation and can do no harm.

So I will stay calm but I will also email.

My response to the above:

Although other visa offices are processing fswp 2013 applications at a very fast rate, personally I don't think LVO is not following the rules set by the Minister. The Minister, in his statement said fswp 2013 applications will be processed within 1 year and LVO is still acting within this time frame even though they are yet to issue any MR.

My application reached on May13th and I received AOR from NDVO on July 31st. I know MRs are not on a FIFO basis, but is there anything to worry about since I haven't got any mails after that. Please share your thoughts

Hi Ashif.......This is a good idea for all the persons from Vo's that seemingly haven't started processing 2013 FSW applications yet.

Thanks islandbabe for ur support! Hope all of us get our expected MR soon..

I am having some doubts,
1. My wife is pregnant, is it ok to do medical without scanning?
Will that cause any problem for delay in further processing?

Since i dont want to proceed with scanning while carrying.
Admins wise response is appreciated.

Thanks in Advance

Have u received medical requests also?

Hi Welcome.....all family members can go ahead and do medicals even your wife....however she must sumbit the delay chest x ray form to the doc will fill it out and submit it to the VO....Yes this will delay you all as it cannot go forward until the baby is born and the chest x ray is done, and then you will have to add the child to you file and do a medical for the child as well. Congrats on the upcoming baby, and no worried, do whats best for your family.

In th spirit of full disclosure I must tell you that some doctors will go ahead with the chest X ray and have the mother wear a gown.apron over her stomach to minimize the radiation exposure to the baby, But alas thats up to the family to decide.

If ur wife is in early stages of pregnancy, she can submit even the chest x-ray with the help of a shield...consult a physician and he can guide u in doing this....

If this is possible,Your application won't be delayed since u can submit both medicals for yourself as well as ur wife...
