No it is not mandatory to change the spouse last name to your name. I have the same case and even I used her old passport. You can use her educational documents, marriage certificate which I have sent.

No medical news from NDVO applicants since yesterday... whats goin on? this waiting time is getting onto my nerves now.......

My personal findings, so far we have seen GCMS notes from the following LVO Members:-

1. JBZZS (PER issued) on 11 July 2013
2. Jigzyy (PER issued) on 9 July 2013
3. Ahab 1974(PER issued)on 7 August 2013

One thing very similar I have noticed from their GCMS notes. Every one has mentioned about 3 due dates. (1) One immediately after the file arrived in LVO, (2) One some where in dec or jan and (3) 3rd due date is exactly one year from per date (Unique in every one's case).

Here goes their personal quoted dates.

1. JBZZS "My GCMS shows several due dates....21-Aug-13, 13-Dec-13 and the date of exact 1 year after PER ... God knows what's all this...."

2. Jigzzy "Last Due Date: 2013/09/28, Due Date: 2014/07/09 (My PER date in 2013), he had not mentioned about the 3rd date"

3. Ahab 1974 "1. GCMS Notes indicate that my file has been assigned to an officer at the London Visa Office (LVO).

2. The date date for the assignment to the officer is 31 January 2014. This is when I think the file processing is due to begin.

3. There are three subsequent background checks. (i) Security, (ii) Criminality and (iii) Medical.

4. The due date for completion of all three checks is 7 August 2014. That is exactly ONE YEAR from the date the PER was issued. "

Expecting the above highlighted 2nd Due date is the one when they going to start working on our case at the worst.

Did the visa offices request for your current and valid passport only or did they ask / need for all your old and expired passports as well?

Any idea about London VO requirement? Do they ask for old/expired/previous passport as well or no?

Guys, I have recieved an email from NDVO 5 hours back, This is with the reply to my enquiry that i have sent on OCT 17 2013 to DELHI

Hello,

My name is ************, I have applied for FSWP category under NOC 3211. My application File Number is ********. I got confirmation from CIC Sydney stating that my application reached New Delhi office on 30/08/2013 .The online status when checked with my file number it shows as IN PROGRESS, And So far from then I haven't heard anything in reply.. I request you to please give the information on my application.

I need urgent advice,

I submitted my application but made a blunder, didn't submitted form IMM5669 for my wife.

Please advice that how can i submit it now?

I am pretty sure that without this form they will reject/return my application.

I send my application on 1st Nov and received them by 4th Nov.

As your application been reached,you have very slim chance but try to do something(normally they don't)accept.Best option is start a fresh application immediately (depending on the CAP)

VO ask only current valid passport. I am sure about it.

This is an excerpt from my PPR request:

"please provide us with the items listed below for you and each family member who will be accompanying you:
- ORIGINAL passport with a minimum of 12 months remaining validity and at least two blank pages;
- proof of payment for Right of Permanent Residence fee (original Visa Link and the teller receipt: www.bucharest.gc.ca ), if applicable;
- 2 recent photos/person as specified in the application guide; and,
- height (in cms) and eye color of each person. "

There are no specifications about the old ones....

Not sure about Canada immigration but have experience for other countries visa (Schenegan, UK, UAE) they don't ask for old passport.

You MUST include copy of original from test center (Contact your test center and get a copy)

Well last year my brother got his PR and he has 3 passport before current one. VO did not ask any previous passport. In case LVO they need only current Valid passport. But you are right never know what they can ask

ANY ONE WHOSE APPS GETS RETURNED???? MY APPLICATION WAS RETURNED ON 6TH SEPTEMBER. BUT I HAVE NOT RECEIVED TILL DATE? HOW MANY DAYS DOES IT TAKE TO COME TO NEPAL FROM CANADA?

MY CONSULTANT TOLD ME THAT THEY WILL NOT SEND TO THE COMPLETE ADDRESS GIVEN TO THEM. WONT SEND TO POST BOX ALSO ALTHOUGH POST BOX NO IS WRITTEN IN FORM.. ANY IDEA ON THAT THING? OR MY CONSULTANT IS JUST LYING ME?
