Haha! I was on the edge of my seat when I heard about your case but looks like I can go back to doing my work!

Hi

I have sent my docs under noc 3142from New Delhi India,
One thing I realise now is ..
1). .I have submitted my spouse birth certificate .. Without translation... However my birth certificate in English..
2) Another thing is that our birth certificates have my name as baby followed by my mothers name... It also has my fathers name and other things.

We have submitted passport which clearly has both our DOBs ... And surely it can be considered as a supporting document

Now what do think ... Will my package be accepted and this thing will be ignored.
Or will the package be accepted and I will we asked to re submit the birth certificate
Or u think it will be rejected straight away....?

Is there any one else sailing in the same boat.
Plz share your experiences... And opinion...
Thanks

@ Rajbir,

'Note:The numbers on this page are updated at least once a week starting from our first posting of the cap count.'

They forgot to write the complete sentence.

Hmm...this sentence makes sense

I just called my Bank, still nothing. According to their experience it is too early.
Thanks for the real update.

Banks have experience in getting their CC charged from CIC, that is really strange...

Nobody knows for sure..now it is at the discretion of the CIC..only they can tell with assurance, what wil happen in these cases of complexities

Agreed. Its a charge relating to the issuance of the DD and not DD en-cashment. So the wait is still on.

This may only be the charge relating to issuance of the DD. In your position I would double check with the bank whether it definitely indicates that the cheque has been cashed.

Totally understood Analyst...Thank you for keeping us updated.

So a cap update would be great for today .....I'll be away for a few hours, hopefully when I am back I will see some progress/good news.

Actually yes, she informed me that DDs for tourist visa are usually processed within 4 weeks, and DDs for immigration after 6 weeks min.

Hello Nizam,

Under your name I can see the Doc's Request say's "03-06-2013". Have you received any request from CIC asking for any additional documents ?

No, I just forwarded all my Docs and currently waiting for my credit card to be used. *Optimistic*

No offence but I thought we agreed that there would only be timeline based queries on this thread...

Agreed...That seems like an accurate timeline......Its just that the cap update is much later than normal and that makes persons even more anxious and in some instances causes un-necessary panic....even more so once we received unfortunate news as Marta's was.

Sincere apologies. .. Out of sheer anxiety I posted my query...
Moreover this is the thread for all those who have sent there papers... So thought. This would be the best lot to ask .

Thanks...
