Going to believe it's kind of Admin managed posts to keep the flame on.
Just joking :)

All respect and appreciation to our lovely admins.
I PM'ed her about all call out for her on the forum. She then replied back as well posted her response. She seemed unaware of any of the responses to her previous post.

!!! UPDATE !!!

Guys, sorry I've been gone for so long, I have personal reasons to do so...
However I'd like to share the following updates with you:

I HAVE PR VISA and COPR

It happened so fast, I didn't have the opportunity to write here. Anyway, here is my timeline since I was gone:

- I went on Medical Exams on 31 October.
- I got the Passport Request on 8 Nov. Meanwhile my ECAS Status was "3. Medical results have been received."
- I sent my passport and the others needed documents last week.
- Yesterday, 18.11.2013, I had status "Decision Made: 4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision."
- Today I got my passport back.

Generally that's all with my application. It will be completed once I land in Canada, which I hope to be in the early 2014.

I hope this information will be of somehow useful to you, that's why I come back to share it.

I wish all of you the luck you deserve! Hopefully we'll meet one day in the Country with the Maple Leaf flag!

P.S. That migth be all from me for the nearest future now. You have to understand, I am yet to begin all the process and preparation. Although, I'll try to take some glances at the forum, especially for PMs.

GOOD LUCK!

Best Regards,
VEL

PPS: Congratulations to BUCHAREST Visa Office!!! Really hard working guys! RESPECT !!!!!!

Hi all
Please please help me.
And all senior members.

I m provincial nominee from Manitoba.
And a silent reader of this forum.

In my travel history what should I write.
I have traveled to Afghanistan for 3 days only.
I have Syria visa but didn't travel. (Business visa)
I was refused to enter in TRNC( Turkish republic of north Cyprus) but have EXIT ENTER stamp on my Passport from Karachi.
I am from Pakistan. What should I do?

What is the standard of CIC+CHC LONDON for security clearance. I mean how they check the applicant for his travel history.

I have a new passport but containing previous passport's number on it.

Should I declare all or should I say didn't travel.
And also for safe side I should declare it as lost having police report.
I m ready to send my file to CIC but because of this.

Please please please help me as I deserve.
Just write all the details and purpose of those visits and proof.....more over u dont need police report, since those travelling periods are within 6 months..
I m sure they will do tight security check, bcoz one of our forum member is from Pakistan (CPPO-VO).. They have been doing the check for last two months..
But if u r honest u dont need to concern..

Thanks gablushablu for the info.

but in that case CIC is contradicting their own statement in guide.

Please refer to below content from the link cic.gc.ca/english/information/applications/guides/EG7TOC.asp

Police certificates
All applicants must submit police certificates/clearances as part of the application process.

You and all of your family members who are 18 years of age and older and who are not already permanent residents or Canadian citizens will have to provide:

a valid police certificate, or
police clearance, or
record of no information.
These documents are to be provided for each country other than Canada, in which you have lived for six consecutive months or longer since reaching the age of 18.

gablushablu said:
So it is advisable to get RCMP before hand, these are generally valid for 6 months. It usually comes in 2 weeks but I have heard it getting delayed as well. So If you are expecting MR in next 2 months get the RCMP as well.

I know, but it is what it is. It is not mandatory to submit all PCC upfront, you can wait for them to ask for it. there is a good chance they wouldn't need RCMP, but if something comes up in their system, they will ask for it, like in my case, we didn't send RCMP initially and they asked only for my wife along with MR. RCMP took 2 weeks for us as this was done electronically inside Canada. If done outside Canada it can take months.

So again, if you are expecting your Medical Tests in a couple of months, it doesn't hurt to get an RCMP check in advance. If they ask, simply submit it. If they don't ask for it, you just wasted $40 to $60. Not a big deal I guess.

hello forum members, before the federal skilled worker program was launched,i wrote an email to the london visa office to inquire about the processing time for the new federal skilled worker program.i was told the processing time was going to be
9-12 months.so just to say people with clean files should forget about the 25 months period.i think the latest should be janaury 2014 for medicals to start coming.be positive guys.
thanks

Good advice, sinestra.
It deserves its place in Q&A blog. May be a new section, called "Before you land in Canada".
What do you think, jiggzy?
Good Idea. We have few plans, which we will post here when we are ready with it, may be in a week or so.

I am just wondering that if the application fee has been charged from my account, does it mean that I met the initial requirements?
The chances of a refusal after fees charged are less than 1%.

I was also asked for RCMP...And i have only been to Canada just for leisure three time for a week.

RCMP process for me took about a week from US.

1. Fingerprints from a local police offcer.
2. Fedex to RCMP desingated fingerprint scan company that can use paper prints and convert ot digital.
3. Once finger print are submitted digitally it takes about 2 to 3 days to get the report.
4. Always provide a Canada address fro report, it can be the fingerprint scan comapny address (thats what i did) and you can ask fingerprint scan company to Fedex to a location outside canada, if you provide an address outside canada to RCMP, then the mail would take a few weeks.
