So far so good..............If nothing this week then it would definitely seem that they are accepting the old generic form and quite a few forum members will breathe a sigh of relief.
Yes, they do accept the old generic form :)

The second person for the 6th is ezap, and he seems to have left the forum permanently. So do not expect an update from him...his entry is now retired in the spreadsheet.

Hello All,

This is my 1st post in Forum, I have a generic query regarding proof of funds, I have heard that 75% of our current PF can be considered in proof of funds, can somebody comment on this ?

I have been following this thread from last 20-25 days but can't find an answer to this, so thought of asking.

Any inputs in this regard are welcome.

Tell me what do you think about this theory. Guess I have too much free time to think about different scenarios.

If Marta's application was processed on 30th May that means they must have processed lot more applications after that day and if none of ppl got any app returned during last whole week (especially guys who submitted between 6th to 10th May) mean that they have all got through the first step i.e. application completeness and moved to second stage which probably is eligibility and payment.

How about that? too optimistic ????

I never read anywhere on CIC about 75%. All you need to do is to show funds required equivalent to family members you are mentioning in your application. check below link.

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/funds.asp

You can show bank statements (savings and current), fixed deposits, property papers etc.

You might have to show these funds at a later stage also once your applications progress further and at VO's discretion.

Hi, Thanks,

Yes even I can't find it anywhere but someone whom I know is using a consultant & he says Provident Fund is a valid proof of funds.

Even you can check the following forum & some old posts are there in our own forum:

Sorry can't paste link, not allowed, will pm you..

One more thing you mentioned property papers, if I own a house on my name but still under construction, will it be considered ?

Of course it have a loan running..

Again, one warning....this thread is becoming uninteresting. Why?

1. People are asking rudimentary questions for applications whereas these are just commonsense
2. People are posting just for the sake of posting - which is not helping or entertaining or informative to others

This thread can be good if:

1. We talk about cap count
2. Talk about analysis of time
3. Throw other intelligent questions for other to analyze
4. and other intelligent related subjects to this thread.
5. Link to another thread where questions on applications are answered (i,e, NOC code, POF, etc etc), after all people want to help other people

NO offense to any one....this is my opinion and I am sure the purpose of the thread. What do you think people?

Hi All,

I am not sure why no one has asked this question earlier. I presume that may be everyone other than me knows it. ;D

In the form IMM 0008 (05-2013)E Schedule 3, point no:11.

Assets means total funds I have (FDs, Savings, Gold, Car, Property)
Liabilities means any pending loans etc
Settlement Funds ::: I don't understand that what should be written over here. Is it only Assets-Liabilties ?

If we look at Application Guide it says:"With consideration to your total assets and liabilities, indicate the total amount (in Canadian dollars) of unencumbered, transferable and available funds that you have for settlement in Canada."

But then according to it, Car, property should not be counted as settlement funds?

I have liabilities = 0 but I have Car in my assets.
What figure should I fill in Settlement funds?

only assets or assets-car price?

Just give the amount required for the settlement funds...i.e i think if alone then $11000,if with wife then $14000 and to support the same give letters from the banks that you have that much transferable funds.
