Has anyone investigated why the wait times are long? I hear some people wait up to 5 years or so. Was there any analysis done on the processing times?

Isn't it very unfair that applicants under CPPO are ready to start their landing whereas applicants from LVO , NDVO etc are still waiting for any further update or MR request. NDVO is at least sending AORs while LVO is dead silent. Canadian govt and immigration minister should look into this matter and should make sure that processing at all offices happens in almost same time frame or at least in a time frame relative to CPPO ... And if they cannot do this they should either distribute the load to the less loaded offices or should allow other local visa offices and consulates to process the PR applications.... This unnecessary wait is really frustrated....

Dear Frnds,

After a long wait, I got AOR mail from NDVO on 10th of October but letter date is 4th October. Kindly update accordingly in the spreadsheet.

When I can expect MR??? Experts please suggest..

Dear Admins, please update my details and also adjust my application date sent to 10th July and received date to 12th July.
This is an adjustment of info from my consultant.

Thanks to the admins for keeping the forum going, running the spreadsheet and giving such good advice.
I wish peace, patience and good luck to those still waiting for the PER, (I will try to help you if I can) and the best of future luck for those who have so far missed out on the hot NOC CAPs.

DECISION MADE

Hi everyone,

What a pleasant surprise from CPPO!
Today being "Thanks Giving Day" in Canada, I was not expecting any news from them.

My ECAS has changed from "IN PROCESS" to "DECISION MADE" today,
and found two additional lines had showed up.

1. We received your application for permanent residence on May 8, 2013.

2. We started processing your application on September 6, 2013.

3. Medical results have been received.

4. A decision has been made on your application. The office will contact you concerning this decision.
