No they cannot pull ur statement but they can verify your balance and from whih date does its there in ur account. If they find it fishy they will ask u to submit complete statement. Although application doesnt suggest any duration for the funds to be maintained at ur account but it should appear that the money is urs only.

Hi all just came back from GOA..
after a refreshing break guess what was waiting for me @ home ....

My application sent back from CIC after a longgg wait
reason for rejection " THE EMPLOYMENT LETTERS FROM MY PREVIOUS EMPLOYER DOES NOT PROVIDESUFFICENT EVIDENCE THAT U PERFORMED THE ACTIONS DESCRIBED IN THE LEAD STATEMENT FOR OCCUPATION (MYCASE 3142.) or THAT YOU PERFORMED A SUBSTANTIAL NUMBER OF MAIN DUTIES OF THE OCCUPATION AS SET OUT IN THE OCCUPATION DESCRIPTION ."
SO my app was deemed incomplete .

Sorry to hear abt ur case.
I can see that with spouse IELTS, ur points are 71.
Even if u claim for 1 year work ex, ur point will be 67.
U should alteast try to claim points for 1 year.

Well guys, it seems like files are being transferred to CPP-O as act of load balancing. Overall objective is to meet the targets (Globally). This is a proactive measures taken by CIC and I welcome this idea. However, I am not sure how will they conduct the back ground checks & some country specific information or processes, but I assume adequate due diligence must have been taken before executing this idea by CIC.

The same thing happened with Buffalo visa office in canada with my brother when he applied for PR in 2009.
His friends, who applied in 2010 got their cases transferred to Los Angeles, Detroit and Ottawa to speed up process coz Buffalo was extremely overloaded as it was the single visa office in North America processing all north american applications.

Now last year in fact that visa office in Buffalo completely shut down and Detroit embassy also shut down, so only Los Angeles, New York and Ottawa are taking care of most of the cases........infact Ottawa is processing all new applications since Los Angeles and New York are busy clearing up the backlog from past years.

London visa office is not as badly overloaded as New Delhi visa office, so I doubt your application will be transferred to Ottawa, even from New Delhi and other places I think they are transferring selective applications to Ottawa (like very strong cases and ppl whose NOCs are experiencing labour shortage here in Canada - so they are streamlining them, I know that 0211 Engineering Manager category is definitely one of those NOCs).

Does that mean local VO will apply their brains and perform the background checks (if required) and then transfer the case to other less occupied VO for admin work (like sending the MR letters etc.)

I am wondering how the later processes (Passport stamping, updates from applicant into his/her file etc) will be managed for such cases. Who will be point of contact for such cases etc etc..

And forum members represent 30% of global applicants, so going by that u chances r very slim.

It's just my opinion...may be wrong.
But I think strong & selected cases are being proceed via CIO ( Not even transffered to VO) and some cases being transferred to other less occupied VO. And the later processes will be proceed through the office where these MR request & RPRF comes from.
Just guessing.
