Guys I have question regarding Marta's refusal letter from CIC.
From Appendix C it looks like Marta was rejected ONLY because she did not submit New Schedule 3 form. My guess is that she also used the old version of the Generic form since her application reached NS at the 6th of May and this form got changed around 4-5th of May.
But this form (Generic form) is not highlighted as missing on the enclosed Appendix C.
What I am trying to say and ask is do you think that they accepted Marta's old Generic form?
My application is signed and dated 4th of May with old Generic form (which content is not changed only the footer date) and my application reached NS on the 9th of May.

Any thoughts would be appreciated. :)

Hi Vitalia,
I think the Generic application form has not been changed. It still says IMM 0008 (04-2013) E, even if you download it from the CIC website now.
What do you mean by it got changed around 4-5th of May? :o

The current document checklist and the previous one has the same footer date. Hope they don't reject the previous one.

Dear all, no need to worry about checklist as Marta has filled same Check list where as his application received at CIC.... And if you have Check letter which he has received with package it has query about only schedule 3 form and NOT A SINGLE WORD ABOUT A CHECKLIST. so don't worry...

If you haven't sent it yet, then you should probably wait until the CIC asks for the police certificate. They say it's advisable to attach it in the first place.

Guys ,
Need advice from you.
I do not have any family name in my passport.
Only my name 'rajbir kaur' is written under given names in my passport.
But
In the generic application form immi0008. When I put my name 'rajbir kaur' under given names, left the family name field empty, the from didn't validate, asking for family name. So in order to validate the form, I just wrote 'Rajbir' under the given names and put 'kaur' under the family name field in the 0008 generic form. But, as I told in my passport all i have is 'rajbir kaur' written under given names and family name field is empty. So would this be a problem. Could my app be rejected because of this. Am I ok or not ?
Beacuse in the generic form it is witten in brackets given name(exactly as shown in your passport) and family name ( exactly as shown in your passport )
What should have been the correct way of filling this information? Seniors please advise

Given name - Rajbir Kaur
Family name - N/A

Hi adrinalineforu

Would my application be reurned due to this ? As I have already sent it ? Please advise.

The form would not allow you to leave that blank if you validated. It's fail-safe.

Don't tell me you filled it by hand.

EDIT: Oh well, i re-read your query again. I don't think it should cause any issue. They should do away with such small notices.

yes the letter received by marta does not mention anything about the document checklist. So we may be fine.

Hello Seniors member,

I have checkd all my documents and every thing is OK except the CIC checklist used as cover site. Forget to send that along with my application but Ihave shared the covering letter with all enclosure details.

Will they reject my application because checklist form is not attched? Is it mandtory document without which they will not accept the application.

Looking forward for quick response.

Thanks

Guys I need an urgent reply over this, i have already sent my application that has been received yesterday..

In additional family information i didn't write my name in my native language, while for my parents and siblings i did write their name in native language and english....is that going to be counted as incomplete?

Is it possible that i send another additional family form now and write a cover letter why i am sending this form..

I have wrote the letter and can send them in half an hour...its a weekend, and im gonna miss two days if it has to be mailed and its not sent by today

Sending them another set of forms [to be included with original] is of no use at the moment. As far the other part is concerned, I am not sure. I haven't done the same.
