Hello Forum Members Need Help,

I am 2132 applicant. File reached on 10-07-2013. Now, should i wait for their reply for the next 1-2 week or it is better to send mail to CIC to get the status of the file. As we all know they need at least 20 days to reply to the mail. Wait for reply. Plz give your precious suggestion

How do you know that "No points were assigned for any other employment because the main duties of my work experience were not listed in the employers letters"?
Have you received any email in which is specified this reason?
Did you specify in that other letters the period of employment, the income earned and the number of daily/weekly working hours and the Canadian NOC equivalent of your job?

In their NER email, they have explained it everything.
In India, companies are never give you job duties letters. Instead they give you relieving letter / Experience letter, in which they just summarized job duties and project executed. I have also submitted Offer, appointment, increment, relieving, From-16 and IT Returns but they want special letter which contains "Job Duties". I just got one such letter and other companies denied it without reason.
It is just hard luck for me.

Sorry to say, but you are not eligible and they will sent back your application even you have sent the updated IELTS, this is my opinion.

L6 R6 S6 W5.5..so i retake the IELTS exam again and i got 6.5 in all skills.i sent the update for my IELTS score with a new cover letter and it should reach CIC office on 1st of Oct..do i have any chance :-(

Hi Guys,

I go a reply for the gcms notes which my brother requested from canada.
its a 36 page document. cio in sydney awarded us 74 points...(only 11 points for work experience as our previous work experience letters were not in correct required format)

our file was received and updated in system in London Visa office on 19-Aug.
Last activity update on file was on 29-Aug. GCMS notes were created on 4-Sep.

Well....we filled and signed one form (me and husband separately) available on their website giving consent to brother for having access to our information.

then the person in canada has to e-mail it to them along with the signed forms...please check website for details....

Sorry to hear this. Don't loose your faith and if you still want to immigrate, try Australia, they are looking for IT specialists and IT engineers.

Current stage: I already got the email with my UCI, Application #, and "your application has received a positive determination of eligibility to be processed".


1. If I need to do some corrections in one form because I made a mistake, how can I correct it? and will it affect my application? Do we really need to correct all the mistakes? or we can just ignore it? My mistake is NOT TOTALLY related to the points or qualifications.

2. What other documents do I have to prepare in advance?

3. On the "Travels" form, do I have to send them an update since I traveled again recently.

4. When is the right time to send all this corrections?

If CIC needs you to correct something at later stages which obviously does not directly related to your points they will ask you via email to re-submit the whole form. (you received your PER it means that everything was OK)

2. What other documents do I have to prepare in advance? you need not to prepare any other documents unless asked by VO.

3. On the "Travels" form, do I have to send them an update since I traveled again recently. yes when your file is delivered at Visa office from CIO sydney, they will send you an email to keep informing them in case of anytravel, you can re-send the travel form with updated record.

4. When is the right time to send all this corrections? you cannot send corrections from your own. however, in case of travel or switching of job, address you will first inform your visa office and then will take action.
