You need to take up IELTS test and I think score a minimum of 6 in Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking.

Hello hamouna, actually the usual time between fee charge and PER is 1 to 2 weeks. In my case however, it went way off the normal timing... not sure what was the reason.
The PER came from: Centralized-Intake-Office @ cic.gc.ca

Add it to your list of contacts so that PER doesn't go into spam folder.

Hey barcomi... it sure did. I think I am among the few who got PER very late. And trust me this 33 day wait is not at all a good position to be in. I am glad the patience paid off well.

my application was considered incomplete because my Employment certificate did not include and description regarding my duties.
so now I got a new employment certificate describing exactly what my work is and the names of the projects I worked on.

No no news from CIC. My DD also has not been cashed till 22nd september. Help please

Mine was DD also.

I asked my relatives in Canada to call the bank in Ottawa to check for me weekly if my DD charged.

One day before I got the PER letter via email, they called the bank and the guy confirmed that nothing yet
When I got the letter it was written that they charged the DD ten days earlier ??? ??? ???

I asked my relative to call the bank and the guy said that the cheque just charged this morning (same day they issue my PER).

The conclusion:
CIC called the bank 10 days before issuing the PER to check the validity of the cheque.
Difficult to know accurate info about charging DD until you get the PER.
