Called CIC today and a nice lady checked in her computer and said my file isn't open yet.
Is that bed news?

Thats a strange answer and a confusing.. Does that mean they counted your application towards the cap but not started processing it or they didnt even touched your application package. Because if they didnt even touched your application then the answer would be something like this "We didnt find any record of your application in our system".

Might be my understanding is wrong and admins/seniors can answer clearly..

I am new to this forum, however I have been watching the posts in this forum for a while. I am already in spreadsheet though. Can anyone suggest me the chances of my application getting within the cap, please? It was filed on aug 8th for noc 0211.

Hi Samana..Good luck for your application...No one can predict what would be happened with CAP except CIC officials..keep your hopes and spirit high...You have given you best to filed application..I can hope you would make your way in CAP

Hi..Just write an email to CIC and do ask them for your status and try to keep calling at cic. here noticed, few fellows got PER or encashed even after 80 days or 90 days..what is your NOC code?..Be Hopeful. You will get response.
