mdharis said:I asked this question on the forum, without satisfactory answers. But here is my lawyer's reply now, so I hope it can help all those with similar question(s):
Question: For the past month only, my bank balance went below $11,115 but I am putting back more money in it in a couple of days. I have always had more than the required funds the whole time since application and can also put more, if needed.
But just for the last month, I went a little low and didn't notice, would that have any effect on my ongoing application (when they ask for proof of funds again at the time of medical request maybe).
Please advise.

(Cohen) Lawyers' reply: Thank you for your email and clarification.
Usually bank statements are requested simply to ascertain whether or not your account has had any major deposits, (in excess of $ 10, 000 CAD) but not necessarily to evaluate your average balance.
It will not have an affect on the status of your application.

Another advantage of applying thru a lawyer ...peace of mind

If the documents are not written in either English or French, please enclose a certified translation with a photocopy of the original document.
Updated forms which are available on our website:
• New Schedule A/Background Declaration form for yourself and your spouse without any gaps in personal history and addresses since the age of 18.
Please forward all requested documents together to the address below within 30 days from the date of this email. If we do not hear from you within that period, your application will be assessed on the basis of the information on file and your application may be refused.
