Dear All

If you are interested to know what happens to our applications at CIC stage by stage, please go through this official and very informative document

http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/manuals/op/op06c-eng.pdf

Hope it will clarify lots of points which we are discussing with each other

Very useful info. Would have been more helpful if it was referred while applying.
My friend who immigrated last year made it amply clear that, I should not be expecting any call or email of sorts from the CIC for at least 2 months. If you hear anything before 2 months, it is very likely request for more information or God forbid, rejection. :'(

jigzyy - I have attached an extra sheet in the file. Link is below. You can easily replicate for the different NOCs. Also, I would change spill.over received date to 24 May in the tracking sheet so as to capture his details in the analysis (analysis excluded files received on weekends). Hope this helps.

For some reason, online excel sheet is not recognizing countifs

NOC Analysis for NOC 2174:
https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0AtUB6RE7ghTMdEFvOU1lVGZ6RUlvb3VSejB1S2JXa2c#gid=0

As suggested before, it seems the cap should/could have been exhausted on May 14 or May 15, 2013!
I have used 95% acceptance rate considering the nature of NOC 2174 people. Until admins of main tracker sheet add this to the main sheet, anyone can modify this. Feel free to correct/tweak figures. If you think 95% is too high, just change the percentage in J2 entry and all numbers will be modified accordingly.

P.S. Jigzyy islandbabe and Marta I can volunteer too.

Hi guys,

Is it necessary to send the educational documents again in the application to CIO even though we have got it verified from WES.
If thats the case whats the point of getting it assessed from WES ?

It's part of the checklist. ECA is required to let VO know what your education is going to worth in Canada, and documents are required as the part of the processing.

Yes, it is required, at least as I have been told, your spouse, if any, also required to send her (university and secondary) educational certificate, again, if any.

I lost 8 days because of these docs

I do believe we could get a cap update even without members here getting their CC's charged, we are after all a small percentage of the overall applications, we don't know whats going on elsewhere. And I am pretty sure that by now at least 3, and possibly as much as 4 (spreadsheet stats says 5) caps may be presently filled.

See your point but not sure about that. I think the only way they can update the cap is if they know how many applications are complete. They can only know this if they charge the CCs. Members of the forum including yourself submitted CCs in the ALL the first 4 days.

The chances of you guys not being in the cap update is a little improbable. Good luck!

Kindly update row no. 156 in the spreadsheet

Application Delivered : June 3rd

And now the wait.... :(

well, it looks like the real journey will just start afterwards :o
1. Your Canadian immigration application is screened in Sydney, Nova Scotia
If all the requirements are met, the Central Intake Office (CIO) will accept your application and make a preliminary decision as to whether your application will be accepted for processing
2. The transfer of your application and supporting documents from the Canadian Intake Office (CIO) to the Canadian Immigration Visa Office that will be processing your application
3. Your application is reviewed by a Canadian Immigration Visa Officer
4. A personal interview may or may not be required
5. Upon completion of a successful interview or if the interview is waived, medical instructions will be forwarded to you. You and your accompanying family members, if applicable, are required to undergo a medical examination by an approved doctor.
6. Request for your passport and right of Permanent Resident fee
7. Issuance of your Canada immigration (Permanent Resident) Visa

A long ride, and as I like to call it a marathon !
Good luck :)

:)

Google spreadsheets does not seem to recognize COUNTIFS. Are there any spreadsheet specialists that can tell us how to proceed?

i am so happy , my application has already been rcvd yesterday..
Do you think NOC 2134 has already reached the CAP? Hope my application got there on time :D

I have a friend who wants to apply for same NOC (2134) but she has not yet started processing on anything... like WES, IELTS etc... :(
i dont want to discourage her, but her consultant didn't advise her on anything, she doesn't have any idea on CAP.. she relies on what her consultant tells her.
I told her to read this forum and CIC website, just to give her some idea.

Ask her to keep fingers crossed.... and follow her heart....:)

CIC might be verifying ECA with WES and we all know abt d services of WES...
It might be taking more time due to this reason.

Possible.....good thought....but I believe they can check online, it shud not take so much time though.....

Has anybody got the PCC from U.S.A? I had stayed in U.S.A for more than six months. So i need to prepare PCC from U.S.A too. Does anybody know how to get and how long it will take to get PCC from U.S.A? I am not in U.S.A right now.
