That's my guess too. How can I ask them to send my file back? I emailed a month back asking the status of my application, still no reply. If there's any format or form that I can use to withdraw my application kindly let me know.

Or shall I let my file be there and apply next year with copies of ielts report and eca doc. I vaguely remember somewhere written that one can use copies if your original report is still with cic. Your thoughts please.

I am worried about 2147 cap. It is now 210. Any body know what is the latest date of applications which has received PER

If it is on buffer, how many will they hold?
Also, i understand issuance of PER can be sequential on first come first served basis. But once the cap is full, why can't they return rest of the apps in one go? It is is really confusing, whether to wait n watch or not? I'm 27-Jun application under 2174. If they return the apps at least, we can either try for reapplying or check for other options like aussie. We are really stuck in the middle now

I can't understand cap update. Is the number counted on PERs received or applications received by CIC. I mean none of NOC 2147 applicants claimed CC/DD charged nor PER after 20th june and the update shows 210.
I am 17th july applicant and really worried right now. Don't know what to expect, as everyone I was hoping to get approved

Today morning I received the e-mail from CIC containing my UCI and application number.
They mentioned that they will send the application to the visa office.
I am a 2147 applicant and my file reached CIC on 20th June.

I am getting worried now after seeing the latest cap update for NOC 2147..It increased by 31, without only one PER issued. It means PER issued last week were not counted in update on 3rd Sept.

Many people were charged last week. It means Fee Encashed last week were counted in update on 3rd Sept.
