I would like to tell you something, as I noticed that you get surprised of the one day gab between fee encached and PER ..... let me tell you my story...
When I sent my file to CIC I waited till I completed 10 weeks.
I kept on watching the cases of the Forum members regarding the fee charging and I found out that normally it takes from 8-10 days between charging the fees and recieving the PER.
I told myself why not to call the bank and check with them first BTW mine was DD
When I called the bank here in UAE they told me it is not possible to check from here it is only to be with the bank in Canada.
Immediately I called one of my relatives there to check for me.
But every time they tell him the amount is there but not charged yet.
In one of those days ..... and while I was checking my inbox I found the PER letter
I told my husband how come we check with the bank yesterday and nothing is there while the PER in my hand
I got sooooo confused.
BUT .... I checked the letter once again I saw that they took the fees since 10 days from the letters date.
I called the bank again the guy told me just this morning they took the money
(The same date of the PER letter ...... not even a day after)
Which means that CIC they called the bank 10 days earllier and they made sure that the amount is there and the cheque is valid.
