Hi to all,

Just want to know, i'm now in the process of fill out the form IMM 008 ( Generic Form)..im confused about some's items their especially I add the dependants.Their is a field that said Passport, what should i write their the passport number of wife and my kid plus dates and expiration?

In my humble opinion, you need clarification regarding passport related entries for your dependents. Yes you must have the passports for all your dependents in front of you before filling out any of those fields. And make sure your entries match exactly with the particulars on each passport.

Thanks and regards...

You're always welcome. If there is anything else you need assistance with, please don't hesitate to ask as there are plenty of knowledgeable people on this forum who have been through the entire process already. They can give you expert advice based on the experiences which they have learnt the hard way.

Don't want to discourage you, but 2174 is already facing Tsunami :( IF you are already in Canada, than I'd suggest to look for other paths, for example, CEC, PNP, that'd be good. You can also apply with Arranged Employment with Positive LMO for Skilled Worker under 2174.

:( that's too bad.... i don't have enough money to apply for PNP and i can't apply for CEC because i have been in canada for 5 months... do you think 2147 will be closed by two months too?

Arash, 2147 and 2174 caps are likely to be reached by now. you have missed that train I am afraid to say however no one in this forum is 100% sure till CIC announces it. You can apply but considering where you are now, I would not count FSWP as a quick or reliable choice to go permanent.

look at this way, You are already in Canada so you have won half the battle. You have been in Canada for what like 5 months (judging from your post) so give it sometime and save some money so you can apply under CEC/PNP after a year. this suggestion is based on what information you have provided. bottom line is that we (living outside of Canada) have less options compare to you. so keep your faith up and I am sure you will find a way to go permanent within short period of time.

There are so many people in this forum (main page) with similar situation so I would advise you to read such stories and get an idea what they had done.

I'm a PHD student here. i can apply for PHD stream in my third year of study, but i need to apply sooner because of the international tuition fees!!! do you think CEC and PNP are good choices? i don't have enough money and i don't work here...
