Just quick question and please somebody answers me!
How can you know that your file has been delivered safely to the CIC ? l mean do the CIC notify the applicant by receiving his file once delivered or only notify him by NER or PER after reviewing the submmitd documents?

l have sent my documents by courier (Aramex) and I have been notified by delivery notification. Is that enough???

Just sent an email to CIO requesting status update on my case since no PER mail received yet!

CIC works this way only.. they don't inform if the package is sent back

What does ECAS says if package is sent back? Nothing?

Guys what exactly should i say to call center executives that they tell me the UCI. They even dont want to start the searching process. Yesterday tried twice 3 hour apart and once male and second time female. after saying hi and hello, i told them straight can they help me finding status of my application. I have filed for PR and it's been 10+ weeks and can they provide me UCI number so that i can check the update, and male said i am not in sydney office but in CIC office, they can tell you, tell me the mail ID i will mail you the contact info and second lady, she said she couldn't help me as they dont have any info.

And here in this forum, lots of people got their UCI number from Call Center....please guys. Tell me what actually i should say or how to start that they give me the UCI or start searching...

I said yesterday that I spoke with one of their colleagues last week, and they told me to call back again this week, as there was no information about my case last week! Also, I said I sent an e-mail 5 weeks ago and did not get any response. I also said, all I want to know is they have received my application (if it is on their system). After he told me it was, then I hassled him for UCI number and he gave it in the end ...
