No Need to send again. There is no change, except the footer. Mainly Files have been returned back, because people have sent old SCHEDULE 3 FORM. This Schedule 3 form has undergone lot of changes related to NOC, Spouse IELTS, etc. That is why the files were returned as without complete information they cant process.

There are absolutely no changes in Generic Application form. There is no extra information that CIC is asking for in the new forms. They need complete information and that you have already sent.

Also, as some forumite mention they are not accepting any follow up docs. Moreover, if you still send it now, your complete application receiving date may not remain the same.

I just checkd the photocopy of my Generic application form it was showing 042013 but I am sure the updated form was not their when I sent my applicatioon to CIC.

So my question is do I have to send new generic applicatioon form.

Hi All Forumites... May I request you to update your profile on the forum as it starts showing up (on the left hand side of your post under your name) whenever a post is made and it becomes easy to refer to in case there is a discussion going on on NOC, PER, File received dates etc (which is the case most of the times)...

I know it shall take 5 minutes of time but will immensely benefit as every time referring to spreadsheet to look up details of a particular member in case he/she needs advice may not be practical for all .....

Even Basic info like...

1. NOC
2. Visa Office
3. App received date
4. PER received date

shall be enough..

Let me give steps on how to update for ease of all..

1. Go to profile section on top right of the forum
2. Go to "Forum Profile Information" under " Modify Profile" on the Left side panel
3. Scroll down and update Visa Office, NOC Code, App Filed (mention App filed date and PER date here if received)
4. Hit "Change Profile" to save

Advice: Leave everything else blank as it un-necessarily takes up page when you post something and everyone needs to scroll down to see next post (if you are browsing via smartphone or tablets).

You don't have to. I believe they updated it sometime in august. There was no change in the Generic application from 042013 to 072013 so your application will not be effected.

It really makes me feel sad when I read that applications have been returned or refused. I know how we all eagerly want this thing to work out and wait anxiously for so many days/months only to find out that it was all a waste.

Please don't feel dejected. Try sending again in a month's time and also in the meanwhile, keep trying to call them at 001 613 9 444 000, and try to obtain your UCI number. If you get that that increases your chances of sending your additional documents and quoting the UCI ref. no for them to allocate these new docs to your application. Stay positive and keep praying!!!!!!

it will not change as your r updating only existing application. but if u want to apply new then it will be new date. but of course updating / changing will increase the processing time.
