Am I reading this correctly?

NVDO is saying they aren't going to process the files before 72 months [based on current estimates] :o :o

hello friends,

Need to share one good news that today i got AOR from NDVO as below.(27th aug)

Processing time
Applications for permanent residence in Canada in the category that you have applied to,
require an average of 10 months to process at this office. If you have not received any
instructions from this office 6 months after you submitted your full application, you are
requested to contact this office directly.

NOTE: earlier on 17th July i got AOR from NDVO stating as below.

No processing will occur on your file for approximately 72 months. This is our current estimate;
however, circumstances may change. Please consult the CIC website for up-to-date information
on processing times at our office: http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/department/times-int/menuperm.
html You may also check basic case status on-line at the Citizenship and Immigration
Web site (http://www.cic.gc.ca) using the “e-Client Application Status” function that is found in
the “Online Services” section of the Web site.

As per my knowledge in this forum Me,Aditya_ & princess19 got that 72 month email.
Today i confirmed it with Aditya_, he also got email from NDVO stating 10 months processing today.

So today i am so happy and feeling relax.

Seniors,my question is how NDVO will process my file?i am sure they will process as per AOR issud on 27th aug then will they give first preference to files they received before 27th aug?(Note that my first AOR was issued on 17th July)

thanx in advance.
waiting for your reply.

Dear friend SFcanada...Don't get panic..

Brijpatel has explained that earlier he got an AOR which satetes processing time of 72 months on 17 th July and everyone here debated that this was a mistake from NDVO...

Now today he got a 2 nd AOR from NDVO stating the processing time is approx. 10 months...So it's confirmed that 72 months AOR's are mistake from NDVO early...

Hope it clarifies :)

You are right. :)

Are you applying alone? If your spouse's NOC is on the list and it's not one of the hot ones then she/he can apply.

Hi,
My application was returned on 1st August but is yet to get to me. CIC is not giving any tracking number too. What to do?

[size=10pt]Dear brother Patel

The content you got in AORis standard , that was the Same in early 2011 AOR.
they usually mention maximum time frame to be safer side for them however they won't take an average 10 months for processing.

To me , you must get MR before Christmas , meaning next 3 months only.

And if you will get we will have party!!!

today me and aditya_ got AOR from NDVO so big relief for all NDVO applicant is that they are working but at slow pace.
by todays mail i think NDVO come to know that they did mistake by sending that 72 month email.so they just corrected their mistake.

hope you will get your AOR soon.

Hi all,

For the inquiry that I did earlier on 31st July through mail, I got reply from CIO today, stating that my file has been transferred to NDVO and any further queries must be directed to them...but the surprising fact is that they mentioned my PER as AOR.... :o ...stating that if you have not recvd the AOR that we sent on August 6th (my PER date), then please advise our office... :)
