Hi ENVMAN: Till July 19 there was no new form available and my application reached there on July 25, 2013 then also i did not see (99%) sure, so dont know when it got updated. Very much tense, my application already returned once for Birth certificates dont have names of me and my kids so attached affidavit and sent. Lets see. i am a Quebec skilled worker, got the CSQ and now applied for federal visa.

Did you send old form after July 1st?

I couldn't agree with you more. Getting CAIPS would not speed up the application process. Yes, it was a very useful too for many of us who were pre-2008 applicants as we did not hear from CIC for many months and years. However, it did not make any difference to CIC on taking their decision.

Though its very very early for u to order CAIPS or GCMS . well its upto u. The only info you will get that u have got the PER. Nothing else.
And the links that u have pasted are of a 3rd party organisation that will charge 25$ for the CAIPS/GCMS .( I wil not like to share my info with any 3rd party organisation)
Please let ur brother know that HE can order the same using CIC website and no 3rd Party would be involved.

Hello,

I applied for FSW class in 2147 category. I am a Bangladeshi national but I am applying from New Jersey, USA. My application received Nova Scotia on June 4, 2013. I just received an "eligibility to be processed" email from CIC today . Now, they will send my materials to Ottowa, Canada (my visa office) for further processing.

I did not send my police certificates (security clearance) at that time. We (me and my wife) will have to provide security clearance for both USA and Bangladesh because we have lived in these two countries during the last few years. My wife is going to Bangladesh day after tomorrow. She will return after three and a half months. Hence, if Ottowa office asks for security clearance within the next three months, my wife will find it difficult to give FBI security clearance. Does anyone know when the Ottowa office may ask for my security clearance? If it happens after four months, we should be Ok.

Any feedback will be appreciated.

chances are very high
after PER the there rejection chances are: if your documents are not correct and the same is found by your VO, your medical results fail, you fail to get PCC and your POF

Alright on the lighter note: after getting your UCI keep checking with CIC ivr if its updated or not....

In IVR if it says after putting your UCI and birth year: we have received your application on ** date **year.

Means your PER is on the way to reach you..so apart from ECAS keep tracking CIC IVR by calling CIC number..

It depends on how genuine your case is. If verification goes well nothing can stop you to get the visa!!

Yea i wrote that i sent on July 19 and reached there July 25, not sure as my consultant filled the forms...but seriously i always checked CIC website on internet b4 leaving home to consultant's office dont know when CIC updated. Their website on the bottom right side says last updated August 2, 2013 so dont know when they updated. In three 2+ months, CIC ppl touch your file and then sent back and that takes another 2+ months with snail mail...Hope for the best, ready for the worst.
