yes Maria..... I applied in 2009 as well and waited for 3 years when finally in 2012 they refused my case..... but did not loose hope and will keep on trying and trying...... unless they grant me Immigration...

Very true.
Up to the current date (of applications received) CIC is working on, more than 90% of our forum members who contributed their details to the spreadsheet got charged and happily waiting or received their PER and AOR now. Others will be charged very soon.

Don't evolve from silent viewer to a silent loser, get lucky and celebrate with us! Contribute! ;D

Guys, I have a question, do you know why CIC is taking long to issue PER to DD applicants than to CC applicants?

It seems like it takes twice the time for applicant who pay via Direct Deposit, is it some kind of delay on processing times at the bank or something? it does not make any sense to me, DD should be faster because it is like cash.

How can we know that file is transfered to local visa office?

I received PER mail on 15/07/2013
but still not received any information
regarding transfer of file to local visa office i.e. NDVO

Have you checked your status on ECAS? what does it shows?

also, you can submit an inquiry to NDVO using the below link:

1. We have received your application for PR on 13th of may 2013.

Inquiring the NDVO may not be of much help.... as it says

"We will not respond to your enquiry if the application is within normal processing times. Information on processing times."

and the normal processing time is mentioned as 19 months for NDVO....But then this is my personal opinion....Experts...pls put some light to it....

Relax, Relax & Relax - there is no benefit in panic more than your own health, wealth,
Just believe in your efforts and pray that your application is opened and initially evaluated within CAP of 300 of your category.
Reaching application in CIC does not make difference but the evaluation date, i believe.

i have got the 8 digit identification number(UCI) through the CIC call centre on Aug 12-2013
I have filed under 1112 -noc code & application reached on June 4-2013
I have tried entering the 8 digit number through the IVR but the call gets transferred to the call center agent & the agent says she does not have access to any data(tried atlest 8 times after I got the UCI)
I tried checking on ECAS but no data is available.(Checked on ECas for atleast 10 times).
What inference should i draw from the UCI number????The consultant through whom i have applied says UCI number is a number which every file is allocated.Consultant says wait for two more weeks.
With 1112 quota hitting 278 as of Aug 12 -2013 what are the chances of making in top 300 .....
