Nice nick. Nobody has been charged lately. CIC seems to be on a hiatus where 1112 is concerned. They should be updating the cap information next week and then we will know more.

Proof of Funds Query

Hi,
I sent my application on 25th May and attached Proof of Funds depending on the exchange rate then. But then indian rupee weakened and the exchange rate has gone up! Now when I calculate the funds that I have showed seemed to be lower than those needed for a family of 3 which is $17,011. What are my chances...will CIC consider this weakening of rupee and give me a chance to show PoF once again or would it consider this as insufficient PoF.

Thanks...

Hello everyone.

I'm new to the forum but have been reading a lot of threads lately.

I've applied under FSW and my file was received on May 01, 2013. My CC was charged on July 12, 2013 but I never received any correspondence from the CIC.
Also, I havent received any PER. I've no clue of whats happening. Although I can access my ECAS, it says In process and my application was received on May 01, 2013.

Any suggestions??

What is your NOC category?I have the same status in ECAS but did not receive any PER.
I hv a question ,how was your appl received on 1 May when we all get
new appl package on 4 th May ??

Do you have an idea what does this status in ECAS means? is it a positive eligibility review or it still has to be assessed?

Bcoz thousand of FSW files are having the same fate!!! Many people from 2010 have still not got their MR. With Immigration to Canada its like a black hole. U never know when its gonna end ( Happy Ending I mean PR) .
No one knows the Reason why they cant employ more people or ask the present employees to do 5 extra files in a day whereby the whole process would have been faster. It shouldnt take any VO longer than 1 month to check our Credentials ( I mean job referencing )and issue us with MR once satisfied.
But instead our files are thrown in dark dusty corners waiting for someone to pick up and start processing.
So shouldnt raise my hopes that I will land in Canada before the end of May 2014.
These r just my views.

I feel the samee....i mean when everyone seems to be talking about 'fast track processing for new applicants' (especially consultants 8) )...i dont believe tht we can be in canada within 1 year....i really hope London VO is efficient now :D but still cant expect less than 18 months processing....wishing luck to everyone on this forum...

Surprises can be expected this year coz fsw applications were closed for an year to clear backlogss.... something abt which we can always be positive :)
