Not Sure! I enquired with two banks (SBI and ICICI) and both said the validity is for 3 months only. I spcifically asked for validity if in International Currency, and there was no change in reply. This was the reason I unwillingly went for Credit Card route.

You expect these bank guys in India know about fema, nri accounts and forex policies?? Most of the time it was me telling them the rules and RBI policies.. so I am not surprised if they were giving you some quick and unvalidated answer

Thank you for your reply. I have all the documents except IELTS, Still dont know if IDP will provide me an extra copy or not. So to send another package will take more time as I might have to take another exam.

So I think I will apply write a cover letter and will send the missing from by tomorrow. And rest depends on the Almighty.

Do you know if is it possible to get another IELTS Copy or not.

this info could be helpful ( unfortunately we dont know Mandarin script) for people in this forum
