Till 17th May, as per forum, we have 80% success rate for 2174. But there will some files pending with them. So, I guess we could reduce the number by 15%.

But again, we are not sure then till which date this update is counted. As, there was post by a member I read that his file was sent around first week of June and it was returned by the mid of July (due to old schedule 3 form).

Obviously, the process of completeness check is going at a faster pace than the process of eligibility review.

So, we are still in the game 8)

+1 for the table. Very interesting. It looks reasonable. And hopefully (the 2174 june 28 and onward applicants ) it's a really REALLY conservative projection.

I am 26th July Applicant
With the latest CAP update my chances dropped to 20%. Now we should wait for a miracle to happen, us to be inside CAP.
Lets keep our hopes alive

I few mins back re-verified with my bank that foreign currency Demand draft is valid for 6 months. India has recently reduced the validity limit for personal cheque to 3 months which has Indian rupee transactions. Still deals in foreign currency and bank cheque (demand draft) are valid for six months.

Please people have made their Payment through DD don't need to panic.

Same information I have and I believe it is true for most Official Cheques and DDs drawn in foreign currency from India, the validity is six months by default. I think all concerned may relax unless the DD/Cheque specifically says that validity is 3 months only.

In fact it is

"Complete application" definition provided in the link may be in general. Of course a complete application should be filled correctly, signed appropriately and initial review is successful.
It may not have something to do with PER/NER. If the application receives a PER, then well and good. In case of a NER, count may be reduced by 1.

May be this is why, initially Aerospace engineers cap update was 1 and then made to '0' in the following update (now it is 1, may be another applicant )

This is just my way of understanding. I may be wrong.

congrats ! you are one step closer
but until PER it doesn't worth CC can be charged even if one gets NER.
And most of the guys , silent and non silent ,I believe are not sharing there NER info.

Yeah, most pending status from the older filing dates are perhaps the NER guys dropping off the forum without updating us. PLEASE DO UPDATE that as well..

He did mention why the application was returned and there was a also a note from CIC as per him.

UPDATE - Here is the post from him.

"Small update: My file was returned to me including photos and IELTS and PCC on 15th July

I have re sent the file with updated Schedule 3 form. I dont even know why it was needed because I didnt need ECA..I have Canadian Diploma.

Anyway my file should reach CIO by Monday

I know its a long shot, but I couldnt sleep if didnt try. If my file comes back again saying cap is full, atleast I can RIP that I tried atleast..

Congratulations to all whose CC have charged since I have posted here.. I dont feel like posting unless I have an update.

I send my application to NS, Sydney which was signed by DEXTER

Other applicant with same NOC sent it to Calgary, AB which was again signed by DEXTER.

Can anyone explain me this ?

My documents were returned due to old schedule 3. I received it on July 26th and I am planning to send it again. Do you guys think it is even worth sending it again? My NOC is 2132.

In my opinion, it is worth sending till you are stopped by CIC themselves. Do not put the block from your side, there is not much to loose anyway (only the Courier fee perhaps).
