waiting for visa..............

I do not know whether this is right place for the question:

I had applied for Immigration in FSW2 (Arranged Employment - LMO) last year and now have completed medicals and Criminal Check.

In the past year, my company is downsizing its employee strength and there had been 35% employee reduction in past year. Fortunately, I am saved in all four times cut offs.

Although, the company is a Microsoft Gold partner but is running through a tough phase.

If (in case), I get lay off, will my application be still valid?

I know that there is a BOWP option too.............but still that too will be valid only if the current application does not expire because of the above said reason............ I am just exploring the options to cover my ass off

I am pretty sure that if the application is finalized, then this situation does not matter et all.

Now, I do not know whether my application is finalized or not. It has been 3 weeks since I have completed medicals and sent the Criminal check reports...........

Dec 1st 2013 - you are eligible for BOWP -and free to work for any employer - This clause applies to those on FSW2 too (AEO)

Post medicals and if u have a ecas line - says medicals received - u have fufilled the criteria of aeo
hence u r safe not to panic in case of any other events

btw order GCMS - it must note in GCMS ur medical status and crim/sec clearance checks

in all ways u r safe enough . keep in touch if u need any further help

This is what I was thinking to do........I will order GCMS in Mid Oct.....Get it by Nov 1st week.
Then if nothing happens til that date, I will apply BOWP by 27th November..........

Hi Terki, n everybody in ds threat,
i need ur opinion on my application status, well I m in Canada since 2009. applied FSW-2 with arranged employment offer on 13 aug 2012, medical done may2 2013, passport send 7 may received NDVO on 11 may. 3rd line --medical received already added to e-cas. since may till today me m my wife passport r in NDVO. almost 5 months. how long ? do u think pafso strike wil b over on 15 oct once parliament opens??? is it gov priority to resolve ds issue on first place once d parliments resumes??? thousands n millions of life on stake...

this covers max time for sec/crim too

did u order gcms ?

Thanx Terki for ur quick response n Pm. I havnt order GCMS. its quite frustrating wen ur so close to have it but cant have it n not even sure dat can have it ever.
wel I pray for u dat u wil get it soon n we all r whose goin thru ds rough patch.

Am I correct that you did not have LMO with your AOE? If so, my timeline is close to yours. I applied March 2012 under FSW2, received AOR in April but have not heard anything since. GCMS notes has nothing started as at August 2013 and my file was transferred Nov. 2012, so I am hoping some luck will be on my side soon.
