Hi,

Has someone applied for FSW – Category 3 from India?

What all documents do we need to submit, are there any visa office specific forms to be submitted?

Please clarify.

You can't apply for category 3 from India.

Category 3: For students or workers who are legally residing in Canada, and have done so for at least 12 months immediately before submitting their application.

If you are applying from India, then you are not residing in Canada anymore and therefore don't qualify. If you apply for category 3 while you are still in Canada but then leave Canada and go to India, you are probably ok. Still, call CIC to make sure.

I have been living in Canada for past 12 months, so don't i qualify for Category - 3.

If you read my earlier post, you will see that the requirements are that you are living in Canada when you apply and have been living in Canada for 12 months or more immediately before you apply.

As soon as you move back to India, you don't qualify anymore. That's why you can't apply for category 3 from India.
