Both applications for PR and CR we submitted together in June 2017 sent to Mississauga. The PR application has been in process since Aug 2017 at the visa office. Mississauga told me they sent the CR to the visa office Dec 2017. Visa office apparently received it Feb, 2018 and was in queue for the migration manager to review. I emailed the office sept 2018 asking for an update and now the file has left the migration manager desk to the visa processing officer.

Apps with criminal rehabilitation generally take much longer than the posted processing time, especially when it is a serious crime like assault with a weapon. Unfortunately, you just need to keep waiting.
