I have scored level 5 in speaking and listening and have to apply for the francophone work permit, my employer is supportive. I wanted to check that if at the same time I can also apply for my spouse’s work permit or do we I to meet the requirement for a skilled job in my case for the spousal open work permit given the requirements for regular spousal open permits. So just wanted to ensure if my NOC code and job title matters for an open work permit for my spouse or if I am eligible for francophone permit my spouse will automatically also get a spousal open work permit extension. Would really appreciate your help.
