Dear Malli
I am not discouraging you but it seems that your case has been rejected. Please do inform all of us because we all are on same boat.

hi sarabjit

how many days it will take to reach the post to my residence they dispatched on 27th november09

15-20 days as it comes by regular mail

Hello everybody.

I would like to share my experience. Initial application sent on June 2008. In January 2009 Sydney informed us that our application has been recommended for further review. (NOC 1111) It was forwarded to CIC London. In June 2009 CIC requested full set of supporting documents. In December 2009 I got a rejection letter ...My mistake is that not knowing the future legislation changes, I included clerk/HR/secretarial duties and not only Accountant duties. However accounting prevailed, and it was clearly shown in the Reference letters, which I provided. The CIC clerk says "i'm not convinced that you are an accountant" :o (and this is what I am)
What CIC wants is that your professional experience is fully and exactly copied from the NOC.
I wonder why CIC made us spend so much money for IELTS, translations & certifications - and then rejected us . My CV has been clear even from the initial application.

Does someone have any idea why?

Hello SSY81,

After reading your quote, it seems that CIC guys are looking for the job duties exactly as written on the web site. I think they do not see any thing else.

I think (but don't quote me on that) there is a note from CIC to their employees which says something like having the exact wording on the application as the NOC descriptions is self-serving so it is discouraged. If someone can find that, it would be good.

I also think so.........

Descriptions of duties taken verbatim from the NOC should be regarded as self-serving. Presented with such documents, visa officers may question whether they accurately describe an applicant’s experience.

Rupeshhari, thank you for the answer. My E-CAS still shows "application pending review". Does it mean that my case is not closed yet (in spite of the letter)?Or just CIC London didn't update my E-CAS...

Does anyone know?....Thanks

Hi ssy81,

what is your status in ECAS web site, is it " Visa Office Eligibility Review Complete" ( i mean the first page after login before clicking on your status) ? what was your status before changing to " Visa Office Eligibility Review Complete" ? i think before that, it was " Recieved by Visa Office" isn't it?
when did it change to new state?
