For me it does not matter whether Canadian Embassy gives a green signal or not. I have made up my mind for Australia now. Because they are much more responsive and fast than the canadians. I will withdraw my file from canada.

Its better to start Australian process rather than blindly waiting for rejection letter which is having 99.9% chances. Canada is not end of everything.

If your friend is haing exp in NOC-0122 then he can apply as Financial Manager (0111) only if some some of his duties match with NOC-0111

Waiting for Check

Hi,

I have applied to CIC in Oct 2008 and received a letter in Jun 2009 about rejection as occupation not in 38 list. The letter said I will receive a check in 3-5 months but I haven't received it yet and now its close to 5 months. Would anyone please advise what should I do? Also, did anyone recently received their check?

Dear All,

I applied on Jun-08 through simplified process system in islamabad canadian high commission pakistan and then i mailed islamabad high commission regarding status of my application, got reply on Mar-09 that my case have been forwarded to CIU sydney canada for further process. But not yet got any reply from Nova scottia.

I applied as scondary school teacher 4141 and its not fall in 38 list.

My online status showing " Application Received " .

i didnt get any rejection till now.appliied in July 2008.NOC code 4141.But fortunately my duties match with NOC Code 4131 under fast track and i applied again in June 2009.Got AOR on 2 Sept and asked to submit full documents within 120 days.I submitted full documents on 29 th Oct 2009 and received AOR on 12th November.
