Form IMM 0008

I am getting married and as far as I understand I will need to fill that form after notifying the IRCC of the change of my status so I can add my wife to the application.
I want to know if this form should be filled by me only, or should my wife fill it too?

I also noticed that there are two forms with the same number

• Generic Application Form for Canada [IMM 0008]
• Additional Dependants/Declaration [IMM 0008DEP]

Which one should I fill?

One question, this form the IMM0008 has to be printed, signed and then scanned? I am confuse because at the end of the form it asks for signature.

I printed it then I signed my name then scanned it and uploaded it on my account.
If you just typed your name using the computer it is not a signature, it has to be in your hand writing.
However they do say that you don't have to sign it if you are applying online as you will sign elcteronically after uploading any document, nevertheless, I signed it any way to be sure.
