Hi all,
Title is quite self-explanatory.On the mentioned form it wants activity history. Under 'status in country' it lists options such as 'worker' or 'visitor'.
For those unaware; the IEC is basically a holiday visa that also permits you to work if you wish to. My activity history shows gaps of unemployment where I was supporting my partner or freelancing.
2 questions;
1) With activity type, I was not technically employed whilst freelancing, but neither was I not earning money as I was independently providing a paid service to a company. Would I still be regarded as 'unemployed' or 'other'?
2) I am on an IEC Working-holiday visa in Canada, so I'm not technically on a work visa, and not really a visitor. Would I list my status as 'other'
Thanks for your time.
