Hi All,

Very urgent help required. i am applying for work permit from inside Canada. Under the coming to Canada Section question 1 requires information on “Date and place of Original Entry to Canada”. Further under question 3, information is requested on “Date and Place of most Recent Entry to Canada (if not as the same as original entry)”
In my case they both are the same, so ideally I should leave that blank. But the form will not validate if I leave that section blank. In case I try to list the most recent entry date same as my original entry date, it gives an error stating that the recent entry has to be a later date than the original entry

how do i go about this??

Kindly advise

I don't know why you are getting those errors. I applied a little more than two weeks ago from inside Canada and had the same situation. Just left the "Date and Place of most Recent Entry to Canada (if not as the same as original entry) field blank and the form was validated successfully. Check to see if you put in some space by mistake.
