Forgot to include receipt

I forgot to include my receipt for my PR spousal application and have sent it off for processing. Does anyone know how long it will take the application to get rejected by IRCC and returned to me?

It may or may not be returned to you because they sometimes can just ask for it in an additional document request. If they do decide to return it, though, it can take up to 3 months.
