Hi. I applied for my wife's permanent residence under spousal sponsorship, to come to canada. I realized after I didn't upload our wedding certificate. What should I do?

I have not received my AOR. I don't have a UCI number.

Should I withdraw my application or wait to see if it's rejected.

You can submit a webform with as much identifying information ('tombstone' date, names, dob, etc) with a scan of the wedding certificate and request to attach to your file.

No guarantee it will work but they do seem to make a good faith effort to find and attach it to the file. They will also sometimes request a document that has clearly been forgotten.

But both of these are uncertain. They can still return it for being incomplete, and obviously you lose time if that hpapens.. It's up to you if you'd like to try to handle differently.

In my case, my application was returned. I got a letter with what mistakes I made. I fixed them, attached that letter to my 2nd attempted application and added the documents I forgot.
Did you resubmit everything?
What about documents if they are expired?

When my application was returned, I logged into the permanent residence application portal and everything I submitted was there still. I did not have to re-upload Everything.

Every document that was done properly the IRCC marked as "complete." They told me clearly what I had to fix.

They actually did not mention one "other" document I forgot, that was critical evidence of my spousal relationship, but later on they likely would have asked for it and may not have returned the application necessarily.

I just had to edit the mistakes, upload what I forgot, and the letter they sent to me.

As for the expired documents, I didn't really have any expired things. If it was marked "complete" by them I would not touch it. You can update the dates or documents that they need you to edit.
