I have a question in regards to my parents.
They came last year in 2018. I am currently using tax software where it asks for the following information:
Q. Did you Canadian Residency change in 2018? We said "Yes"
Q. Income from Foreign sources, plus Canadian sourced Part XIII income, for the part of the year when you were not a resident of Canada: "We entered the amount"
Now going to the section:
"Name", did you work in 2018?
Foreign - Income from outside of Canada
The question shown in Blue above, is that for foreign income before becoming PR or after or both?
How should it be declared as per my father's situation as mentioned above.
