Hello,
I have a question regards my experience calculation.

I have a mixed experience ,of part time and fulltime, and I am still employed at the same place.

In total ,I have an overall 4421 working hours including part time (20 hours/week) and full-time(38 hours/week) from nov 2017.

Will IRCC, count total number of working hours or will it only take 1560 hours per year into consideration?

My migration agent suggested that, the working hours exceeding 30/week will be added to the experience.

So, in an year if we work for 38 hours for 52 weeks its 416 hours more than required, and will that extra no of hours worked contribute towards more experience. ?

Please help me out .
THANKS IN ADVANCE. I REALLY APPRECIATE IT :)

Your agent is wrong. Extra hours worked over 30 hours a week cannot be contributed towards more experience.

Here's how you do the calculation:

1) For each week where you worked 30 hours or more, count this as 1 week of work experience (it doesn't matter if you worked 30 hours or 60 hours or 90 hours, it's still just a week of work experience).
2) For each week where you worked fewer than 30 hours, add up the total number of hours and divide by 30.

Add the two numbers above together. This will tell you how many weeks of work experience you can claim.

Thank you so much for this valuable information.
It really helped me, from being fooled by the agents. Much appreciated. :)
